A writer’s journey is eternal, it’s endless and reaches no destined shores. She has to move on from one land to another (in terms of writing). From writing fiction to biographies or stories to satires, a writer lives on forever in disguise of her work, through her creations presented as a gift to the society. No matter whether a writer portrays negative values or positive convictions, she will always be admired and resented simultaneously for her work.
What makes a writer?
Strong determination, crazy love and altruism for writing. ‘Anyone can be a writer.’ Yes, you read it right! I proclaim it cause’ I’m that “anyone”. I know what writing means, I know how it feels to blurt out anything and everything in the best expressive way possible. But, is this what a writer does? Just speak what she feels? Is this a writer’s destiny to just pour her heart out or rebel against the wrong? When was the last time you heard a writer being acknowledged by everyone? When was the last time a writer received approbation from the mob? To my observation, this has never happened and I don’t see this happening in the near future.
Going forward, the ‘writer’s industry’ is at its pinnacle with budding writers pooling in, but my concern is that is writing limited to penning down blogs, vomiting words in disguise of articles or churning out professional pages? Where is that love, that frenzy which made a person write anything and that would turn out to be a masterpiece? In the world of professional pursuit, are we losing on our dream to be that hard*** writer that we have had dreamt of?
Don’t you miss the time when you were your own boss and could write anything without anyone’s interference? Don’t you wish your company would allow you to write in your words and not involuntarily stuff words in your mouth? Heartfelt apologies that i cannot offer you a plateful of solutions against this as I find myself juggling in this situation that cannot be escaped. But what I believe is one should NEVER STOP DREAMING…’cause “All our dreams can come true, if we have the courage to pursue them.”- Walt disney
Believe in yourself, believe in the words you adorn the world with, cause’ you’re one of a kind and so are your bedazzled words.
